Holga Shmooze & Artist Talk – Sunday, 11/23
This Sunday, November 23rd, join us at Benham to talk about photography with this month’s exhibiting artists and special guests!
At 1:00, exhibiting artists Rosanna Salonia, Matthew Yates & David Armentor will give a gallery walk & talk about their work. The opening party is Friday, November 21st, 6-10, by the way.
At 2:00, all Holga fans are welcome for an afternoon of talking plastic! Rosanna, Matt & local Holga Queen Michelle Bates will guide us through looking at their work and yours! In this informal gathering, we’ll project submitted images, peruse prints, and gab about shooting with plastic.
To participate, send up to 10 jpgs (not too big – they’re just for projection) to studio@benhamgallery.com by Wednesday the 20th at 5:00p. We’ll come up with some system for deciding what to show during the gathering, so no guarantees (this is informal, remember?). Also, bring prints along, and we’ll have time to walk around and look at them. Questions about working with Holgas? Bring those on Sunday. Questions about the event? Are you coming? Post comments here and we’ll update as we have more info.
